Trike routes in Lanzarote
The Lanzarote Trike excursions that we offer are without a doubt an authentic way to explore the island. The vehicles are very comfy, safe and easy to drive. They can accommodate three people and allow you to enjoy the ride and the views intensely.
You can choose between these two guided Trike routes:
VOLCANO ROUTE – 2 hours – approx. 80km
Itinerary: Departure from Uga – road to La Geria – Tinguatón volcano park road – Timanfaya road – Salinas de Janubio- Los Hervideros- El Golfo.
On this route you will discover some of the most authentic and stunning landscapes of Lanzarote. The La Geria wine region with its vineyard landscape between the volcanoes, dotted with little white houses; the impressive road moonscape that crosses the Volcano Park and leads us to Timanfaya; and the colour and shape contrasts that we will admire on the winding volcanic coast from the Salinas de Janubio to El Golfo.
We will make two brief stops on the route of approximately 15 minutes so that you can take photographs. One of those is in the camel halt next to the Timanfaya National Park. The camel ride is not included in the price of our route, but if you would like to try this experience you can acquire it there (6€ per person). The second stop is in the town of El Golfo where we can visit the Green Lagoon.
GRAND TOUR ROUTE – 3,5 hours – approx. 150km
Itinerary: Departure from Uga – La Geria road – Monumento al Campesino . Famara beach – La Santa road – Tinajo – Timanfaya road – Salinas de Janubio -Hervideros- El Golfo.
On this second route we will cross the whole area of La Geria passing the wine cellars and by the Monumento al Campesino, where we will make a brief stop if we have enough time. From here we will head towards one of the most magical and stunning places on Lanzarote: the Famara beach, surfing paradise. Here you will have a 40 minute break to recharge your batteries with the energy that can be sensed here.
We will continue our tour on the Soo road towards La Santa and from here to the volcanic coast crossing the Timanfaya road. The rest of the route is similar to the Volcano Route.
