An audio-visual dance and music performance that tells the story of Lanzarote from the 15th Century throughout which locals tried to survive and had to emigrate other countries to our days.
In the 20th Century, agriculture, fishing and tourism, next to artist César Manrique, created a new Tempo for Lanzarote.
In this representation you can experience at firsthand, some chapters of history of the island. Tempo is a journey in time through music and images, a story told and sung of what Lanzarote was. The trials and difficulties to be what it istoday, in the very special auditorium stage of Jameos del Agua.
The show is a creation of Roberto Fuentes and the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote with the collaboration of Benito Cabrera, produced by the Centers of Arts, Culture and Tourism of the townhall of Lanzarote.

Los Jameos del Agua is considered a Historic Garden, besides being declared a “Site of Scientific Interest” for its significant heritage values. A place where you will be surprised at every step by the amalgamation of contrasts, colors and textures. The white terraces, the black volcanic stone, dark jameo, outdoor lighting, lush vegetation, palm trees, and blind albino crabs which are unique in the world.
