Jameos del Agua by night: Dinner & Music

We had visited here before but this time we went late Tuesday afternoon. We enjoyed a coffee as we watched the light change in the cave then we sat in the gardens as dusk fell. It was magical to watch the lights come on one by one and then see the pink streaked sky and the first stars. Tuesday is one of the few days they stay open into the night and I would highly recommend this as the best time to enjoy Manriques masterpiece.

A place where you will be surprised at every step by the amalgamation of contrasts, colors and textures. The white terraces, the black volcanic stone, dark jameo, outdoor lighting, lush vegetation, palm trees, and blind albino crabs which are unique in the world.

Please note:

  • In winter it is recommended to bring a jacket because the humidity inside the cave can cause a cold sensation.
